​the 21st Century Classrooms
"

Location: University of Hawai`i at Manoa, Music Department
​The HMEA In-Service Conference Committee is seeking 60 to 90 minutes proposals for the 2023 conference. Our conference theme is, "Creative Music Teaching in the 21st Century Classrooms." Suggested conference topics include, but are not limited to the following: Instrumental and Choral Rehearsal Techniques, Instrumental and Choral Literature, Music Literacy, Assessment, Active Music Making, Music in Special Education, Music Technology, World Music and Advocacy.

We are looking forward to your proposals and coming together to support music education in Hawai'i.
